Tiwa Savage Joins Tecno

A well-known musician named Tiwa Savage has joined Fireboy DML and other well-known individuals as a brand ambassador for cell phone manufacturer Tecno Mobile. As a result, she has been named the brand’s first-ever female ambassador.

During a discussion with the media this week, the smartphone maker revealed the news and expressed delight about working with the “Somebody’s Son” artist.

On her part, Savage noted that she had always admired the brand. She said, “Tecno is a very special smartphone brand. Wherever you turn in many parts of the world, you feel the presence of the brand. I have always admired how far the brand has come and what it stands for, so I didn’t have to think about it before deciding to join the family.

“Their ‘Stop at Nothing Brand’ spirit and pursuit of excellence very much aligns with what I believe in and is a testament to how far I have come in my career, despite facing many challenges. Beyond the sleek design and awesome camera that the phones come with, the brand also has a renewed focus on supporting the African youth, and this inspires me to want to be part of the story. I am super excited about this partnership and our fans can be assured of an amazing journey and experience with us.”

Tecno’s PR Communications and Media Manager, Vincent Uzoegbu, also described the singer as an icon who inspires a lot of youths, and that both brands share the same ideology. He added, “Tiwa Savage is a huge inspiration to millions of young people. Her journey to becoming one of Africa’s biggest artistes is nothing short of a story of tenacity and an unrelenting spirit, something we very much relate with, understand and support.”
