Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s nominee for president, has continued to confer with the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC).
According to Anaedoonline.ng, Obi met with the union’s leadership on Tuesday. The union is an umbrella group for trade unions in Nigeria.
Obi is in discussions with the authorities to enlist their backing before the general elections in 2023.

Recall that the candidate for president left the Peoples Democratic Party, or PDP, and joined the Labour Party.
On the other hand, the NLC and Trade Union Congress are significant supporters of the Labour party, where Obi has redeemed his opportunity to run for president in 2023.
