According to Obinna Nwosu, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for the House of Representatives in the election for the Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency, Nigerians are offering their time, money, and resources to Peter Obi without asking for them.
Nwosu expressed his opinions on Twitter, claiming that due to the enthusiastic backing the former governor of Anambra is receiving from Nigerians, most politicians are envious of him.
He claimed that while some Nigerians are receiving bills, others are already contributing to the Labor Party, LP presidential candidate.

Following a contentious campaign billboard on a branded praying mat, Peter Obi has released a disclaimer.
This arose after some Northern Muslims condemned a group backing the Labour party presidential candidate for branding a praying mat in a mosque with the politician’s image on the microblogging site Twitter.
They believed it was improper to display any artwork featuring people or animals inside of a mosque.
