Abdulmumin Jibrin, a former member of the House of Representatives, has urged Peter Obi’s Labour Party (LP) supporters to duplicate their internet campaign throughout the entire nation.

Jibrin also questioned whether Obi supporters will still have a chance in 2023 if they take their campaign offline in a tweet sent on Monday via his verified Twitter account.

The NNPP chairman also urged the “Obidients” to tone down their slurs and highlight some of the accomplishments of the former Anambra State governor.

Jibrin, however, praised the former Anambra Governor’s followers for a well-organized online campaign.

He wrote: “You have to give it to Obidients for a well-coordinated online campaign. If they could replicate a verifiable 1% of such a campaign offline, abuse less and share just a few achievements of PO viz Infrastructure, Education, health, housing and new cities etc, they may have a chance.”

This situation comes after Jibrin instructed the southeast to support Rabiu Kwankwaso in the 2023 election while Peter Obi would serve as his running mate.

Speaking on Channels Television, Jubrin declared that the NNPP coalition is the safest option for the Igbo and that a firm agreement would be established that power will return to the southeast following Kwankwaso’s term.

He claimed that this is the first time that the southeast will be guaranteed that it will be their turn for the presidency after a specific number of years since the passing of the former vice president of Nigeria, Alex Ekweme.

The NNPP chieftain said the Labour Party does not owe any state in the country, adding that Obi being Kwankwaso’s running mater is the safest route for the southeast.
