The Anambra State Task Force has destroyed a portion of the structure housing the Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry, which is led by Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere alias “Odumeje” and is located in Onitsha.
The State Government has designated the church, also known as Land of Freedom, as a “illegal building” and had previously designated it for demolition due to its encroachment on a sizable canal.
Although it was believed that the structure housing the church’s security office and generating set was the one being destroyed.

Members of the state task force stormed the location on Thursday to enforce the demolition and there was a face-off between the pastor and some of the task force members.
It was gathered that security men had tried to whisk the pastor away after he was trying to resist the demolition activities which led to the men manhandling him.
