The late gospel singer Osinachi’s husband, Peter Nwachukwu, is said to have escaped from the Kuje Medium Security Correctional Center in the Federal Capital Territory.
Terrorists broke into the prison last Tuesday to free their comrades and other prisoners, according to an earlier report by Anaedoonline.ng.
In its report of the break-in, the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) stated that 879 prisoners left the prison last Tuesday.

According to a source from the Dunamis International Gospel Center who discussed the issue with Daily Post, Peter vanished following the attack on the prison.
The source said that security personnel have started looking for him in a manhunt.
The source said, “The day we heard of the prison break, we called the prison authorities to know the state of Mr Nwachukwu but they were initially not forthcoming with the true situation.
“But it was confirmed on Sunday that the man truly escaped from prison custody.
“Manhunt has been launched on him at the moment. Security agencies have been briefed.

“They are also monitoring his bank account to see if there would be any transaction.”
Peter was detained at the Kuje prison over allegations of domestic violence levelled against him following the death of the gospel singer.
