President Buhari was honored by Sheriff and his former aides at Sallah.

Days after APC presidential candidate Bola Tinubu named the former governor of Borno State, Kashim Shettima, as his running mate ahead of the 2023 general elections, Sheriff paid a visit to President Buhari in Daurs.
Despite objections to the Muslim/Muslim ticket in 2023, Tinubu declared the senator representing Borno Central as the APC vice presidential candidate.
A few APC governors paid a visit to the president in Kastina State’s Daura to show their support for the nominee and to make a commitment to the party in 2023.
Aminu Masari of Katsina State, Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State, Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State, Abubakar Bello of Niger State, Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, Simon Lalong of Plateau State, and Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State are among the governors who paid President Buhari a visit on Monday.

Following the meeting, the governor of Kebbi State, Bagudu, stated that Tinubu-administration Shettima’s will complement President Buhari’s accomplishments over the last seven years.
