Iyabo Ojo, a well-known Nigerian actress, has responded to the judgment rendered by an Ikeja Special Offenses Court against Olarenwaju James, also known as Baba Ijesha, a colleague.
Recall that the actor was given a jail sentence on Thursday by the court for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl.
Baba Ijesha was convicted guilty of sexually abusing Princess, a Nigerian comedian, and her foster daughter.
After two hours of deliberation, Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo, the case’s assigned judge, gave Baba Ijesha a 16-year prison term.

Iyabo Ojo, who has led the defense of Baba Ijesha, dedicated the ruling to mistreated children.
She called on people who have faced similar cases not to be afraid to speak up and speak out.
The actress also took the opportunity to preach against rape.
Iyabo Ojo in a post on her Instagram account wrote, “To all the girl child and boy being abused, do not be afraid to speak up and speak out.
“This victory is for you. Say no to rape.”
