Ife, a recentlywed woman, fled after burning her husband on fire for having an extramarital affair.
Trouble reportedly began when Ife began to believe her spouse Bolu, a Cairo-based man, was having an affair.
According to reports, the incident took place in Osogbo while Bolu was on a home visit from his camp.
Ife allegedly left a bitter message on her Whatsapp story before the terrible incident, claiming that her lover had “pushed her to the edge, and promised that people will grieve over the both of them before morning.”

Ife followed through on her promise by eloping after lighting her spouse Bolu on fire.
According to reports, Bolu was taken by neighbors immediately to the hospital, but ife was nowhere to be seen.
Unfortunately, the burns from the fire led to Bolu’s death.
