Prior to the 2023 general elections, Ngozi Orji, the wife of renowned Nollywood actor Zack Orji, endorsed Peter Obi, the nominee of the Labour Party (LP).
This comes after Nigerians criticized her husband for supporting Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) flagbearer, and Kashim Shettima, Tinubu’s running mate.
Ngozi posted a video of the former governor of Anambra State’s visit to the Revival Church Assembly, Ogba, Lagos, led by Apostle Anselm Madubuko, on her Instagram profile to show her support for him.

The veteran actor’s wife identified herself as a “Obidient” in the captions of the film, the term used by Peter Obi’s admirers.
