Ladidi Mohammed, the head of the Ministry of Justice’s Asset Recovery and Management Unit, has been interrogated by EFCC agents on fraud allegations.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, the EFCC had Mohammed, a close associate of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, held and interrogated for days on claims of the illegal sale of recovered assets worth billions of dollars.

Mohammed went back at the anti-graft commission on Friday for more interrogation after being granted administrative release on Thursday.

According to information obtained, the Commission is looking into shady transactions involving Nigerian assets that Mohammed is alleged to have sold under dubious circumstances.

Malami allegedly gave a business and its lawyers a multibillion-naira assets recovery contract in secret.
