Otu Njama, Another Filmmaker, Passes Away

Otu Njama III, a Nollywood filmmaker, has passed away.

According to reports, the director of Inhibition (2019) passed away on Tuesday night after experiencing high blood pressure.

Njama, who was in his early 30s, passed away just one day after Biyi Bandele, the director of EbonyLife’s Blood Sisters.

Husseini Shaibu, a well-known film critic and expert, posted a confirmation of Njama’s passing on his Instagram page on Wednesday.

Sharing a picture of the deceased, Shaibu wrote, “He sent me a formal invitation for his much anticipated ‘Sweet Mother Concert’ yesterday and followed it up with a call for my attendance and coverage of the event at 1pm yesterday. The show holds tomorrow but this morning we heard that the Filmmaker of ‘inhibition’ Fame Otu Njama 3 is DEAD!
