If Nigerians choose the All Progressives Congress (APC) vice presidential candidates in 2023, Senator Kashim Shettima and Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, they will get to work immediately.

He said that as the governors of Borno and Lagos States, respectively, they had accomplished enormous feats of progress and would do it again in Nigeria.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, Shettima submitted the proposal on Monday in Lagos State at the general meeting of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), where he was a representative of Bola Tinubu, the APC’s candidate for president.

Shettima stated that as governor of Borno State during a time of high insecurity, he created some of the state’s top schools, urging Nigerians to “follow the man wey know the route.”

The ability of Nigerians, in his words, “to see through the worn-out rhetoric and sophistry of pretentious politicians”

“Nigerians should heed the advice of the wise. We will get right to work from the beginning. The topics of the economy, ecology, and security will be covered right away.

“And we already have the precursors. Some of Nigeria’s top schools were created by me. You would not believe that Borno is a state in a state of conflict if you visit; you will witness wonders there.

So that our country would be a better place, we’re going to duplicate our successes in Lagos, Borno, and other of the frontline states.
