Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for president, has drawn harsh rebuke for skipping the 62nd Annual General Conference of the Nigerian Bar Association’s opening ceremony (NBA).
According to Anaedoonline.ng, Senator Kashim Shetima, a vice presidential candidate for the APC and a former governor of Lagos State, attended the event on Monday on behalf of his principal.
Shettima urged Nigerians to support their united ticket because of their accomplishments as governors of Lagos and Borno States in his remarks.

The former governor of Borno claimed Tinubu will achieve at the federal level what he did in Lagos, saying his principal would get started right away if elected in 2023.
However, some netizens have taken to the micro-blogging platform, Twitter to slam the APC presidential candidate for sending his deputy to the event.
