Ahead of the 2023 elections, Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, gets another opportunity to stand in front of the public at an event with other candidates.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, Tinubu, Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and other candidates are all anticipated at the National Unity Polo Tournament, scheduled for September in Keffi, Nasarawa State.

This occurs shortly after Tinubu’s running mate, Kashim Shettima, represented him at the annual convention of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) in Lagos.

Anaedoonbline.ng has learned that other prominent politicians, including Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, royal fathers, traditional rulers, captains of industries, and other dignitaries are anticipated at the four-day event in addition to the presidential aspirants.

Wadada claims that the purpose of the gathering is to ease political tension and guarantee a smooth election in 2023.

In his words, ”Already the political atmosphere in the country is charged ahead of the commencement of campaigns by all presidential candidates.

”It might hot up in the next couple of months, hence the need for the tournament in order to douse tension in the political space.”
