The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Bola Tinubu met with Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike in London on Monday night, it was disclosed hours earlier.

Whether Atiku intends to meet with Wike to resolve the conflict dividing the opposition party, however, could not be confirmed.

It is known that Wike and Atiku have been engaged in a constant argument over the results of the PDP presidential primary for the 2023 elections.

Atiku won the primary elections, with Wike coming in second. However, the insider’s participation in Atiku’s victory and the choice of Ifeanyi Okowa, the governor of Delta State, as his running mate are alleged to have pitted the Rivers Governor and the former Vice President against one another.

The PDP’s leaders have made valiant attempts to bring both men together, but so far their efforts have not been successful.
