Chris Eluemuno, a former leader of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Anambra State, is confident that the procedures established by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will make it challenging to rig the 2023 election.

He believed that Peter Obi, the nominee of the Labour Party (LP), will prevail once the 2023 presidential election is not manipulated.

Anaedoonline.ng reports In a conversation with reporters yesterday at his country house, Nkwelle-Ezunaka in the Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State, Eluemuno expressed his viewpoint.

He asserts that Obi already has a sizable following among Nigerians and that the reforms and technological breakthroughs made by INEC have made election fraud more challenging, which will favor the Labour Party candidate.

Eluemuno argued that it is now nearly impossible to rig elections because to the electoral act in place and electronic voting technologies.

He did, however, add that if the election were to be manipulated in any way, Nigerians would be prepared to reject it.

“If they try and rig it, they will see more than they saw during the EndSARS protest. Nigerians are set for a showdown if the man of the people is denied his victory.”
