Despite being a member of the People Democratic Party, Isaac Fayose, the younger brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, has made a sizable gift to the Peter Obi campaign for president of the Labour Party (PDP).
According to Anaedoonline.ng, Isaac Fayose said in a social media post on Thursday that his Ibadan-based property, Viewpoint Resort, would be donated in support of the Peter Obi campaign.

“I think about 1000-plus in Ibadan. Now, you guys have a place to hold your meetings.
“There is no business activity going on till I sell the place. We can use it for Peter Obi till after elections.”
Isaac Fayose has stated that for Obi to be able to win the 2023 presidential election, he may require up to N50 billion naira to “create framework.”
Although Obi is the most well-liked person on social media, he continued, All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate Bola Tinubu has more name recognition, resources, and organizational support. However, in his opinion, Obi’s popularity on social media cannot be enough to win the election for the former governor of Anambra State.
Fayose claimed in a video he posted on social media that Obi needs both structure and money to become the next president of Nigeria.

He said: “Out of all the candidates, Obi is the most popular. If we vote today on social media, he will win. But an election is structure-based. So, Obi will need N50 billion to be able to make that government a reality. Fifty billion, yes, Obi will win.
“Remember, Tinubu is a little bit popular too. He has what they call structure. The structure alone is worth fifty billion. He has what they call goodwill. They call him ‘The City Boy’. So ‘where him money no fit reach, him structure go reach, where him structure no fit reach, him popularity go reach.
“Obi, with fifty billion, will manage to buy his own army to defeat Tinubu.”
