Following a series of events, including a wake and a night of tributes, the late actress Ada Ameh was laid to rest.
On Friday, August 26, 2022, she was laid to rest at her father’s yard in their village of Otukpo, Benue State.
Recall that Ameh passed away at the NNPC facility in Warri, Delta State, on July 17, 2022. She had even shared a video on social media just hours before she passed away.
As she was put into the ground during the burial, the mourning of her friends, family, and coworkers tore the air.
Her friend, Empress Njamah, who had been visibly shaken since Ameh’s death, shared videos from the burial with the caption, “Goodnight, my friend.”
Another colleague, Charles Inojie, wrote the late actress an eulogy where he mourned her untimely demise.
Actress, Kate Henshaw, wrote, “Lord, let my life be used for your glory. Receive our sister, colleague and friend, Ada, into your arms.”

Another actress, Chioma Akpotha, wrote, “Rest on, Ada.”
Uche Ogbodo wrote, “Rest in perfect peace, Ada Ameh.”
Angela Okorie also wrote, “May her soul rest with the Lord, amen.”
Nuella Njubigbo said, “Dear mama, rest peacefully in the bosom of the almighty, amen.”
Calista Okoronkwo wrote, “May the Lord accept her soul and grant her eternal rest in His bosom.”
Susan Peters simply said, “Rest with the saints, sis Ada.”
