Sen. Ibrahim Shekarau, the former governor of Kano State, has rejoined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the party’s candidate for the presidency in 2023.
This occurred on Monday at Shekarau’s Mundubawa residence in Kano State.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, Atiku traveled to Kano for three days with his running partner, Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, the PDP national chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, and other party leaders in expectation of Shekarau’s rejoining the PDP before the 2023 elections.
In an effort to entice more well-known politicians ahead of the upcoming elections, the PDP chieftains landed in Kano on Sunday. They are slated to tour the state.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, Shekarau made his return to the PDP from the New Nigeria Peoples Party official today (NNPP).
