According to preliminary findings, one of the deceased, Obinna Dike, 31, was at his traditional wedding on August 26 at Obollo-Eke in Udenu LGA.
Dike went along with his family and the other victims, who all returned home and continued the party.
The door was pushed open the next morning since none of them left the room where they slept.
All of them were discovered unconscious, emitting froth from their mouths, and were sent directly to the hospital.
Once their demise was established, they were placed in the mortuary for preservation and an autopsy.
