As a Nigerian, Mr. Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, according to the Northern Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), merits contracts from the Federal Government to assure the protection of pipelines.
The organisation stated that it would continue to support any government initiatives aimed at boosting public safety and welfare.
Comrade Isah Abubakar, President of the group in a statement issued, Tuesday in Kaduna, said, “Tompolo as a Nigerian, with private Company rendering security services deserves any favour he gets from the government to ensure the protection of pipelines.”

The group voiced its outrage over a publication by a certain group that urged the Federal Government to withdraw the pipeline Surveillance Contract awarded to Tompolo and others, or risk a large-scale uprising.
In order to prevent mischief makers from using the group’s name and reputation to spread confusion throughout the nation, the group requested that the security authorities mount surveillance on them.
