Dr. Ben Nwoye, the All Progressives Congress’s (APC) recently-retired chairman in Enugu State, has bragged that the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, will win enough support from the region’s voters.

He made his remarks at the Enugu campaign building dedication for the Tinubu-Shettima Independent Campaign Group.

Nwoye stated that despite the difficulties of the nation’s ongoing insecurity, President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration had accomplished a lot.

He listed the several historic accomplishments the Buhari administration has made, such as providing a minimum wage of N30,000 and raising the allowances for National Youth Service Corps members (NYSC).

Nwoye added that the APC-led administration launched a massive infrastructure building program across the nation, particularly in the South-East.

“There is need for continuity and even though there is a problem of security, it should not undermine the achievement of the APC-led government.

“It was the APC under Buhari that introduced the primary school feeding project,” he stated.

He disclosed that all stakeholders in the State had agreed to work for Tinubu come 2023, adding that nobody will stop the presidential moving train of APC.

“We want to ensure that Tinubu/Shettima will get enough votes in the South-East.

“I advise supporters of other parties that are saying that APC will not campaign in the South-East to bury the idea. We have thousands of supporters that will work for the APC,” he stated.
