Today, Tuesday, August 31, Nigeria’s Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, left Abuja for the United States of America.

This information was released in the wee hours of Tuesday by Mr. Laolu Akande, his senior special assistant for media and publicity.

He said that in order to further explore Nigeria’s energy transformation strategy, the Vice President is leading a federal government delegation to the USA.

Osinbajo will meet Kamala Harris, the vice president of the United States, the president of the World Bank Group, as well as other prominent public and private sector figures during the visit.

The statement reads: “VP Osinbajo leaves Abuja today leading a FG delegation to Washington DC pitching the recently launched Nigeria’s Energy Transition Plan. He will be meeting American VP Harris in the White House, World Bank Group President, other top US govt leaders and private sector interests.”

On the other hand, governors who ran on the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform paid Professor Yemi Osinbajo a visit on Tuesday.

The Governors paid Osinbajo a visit at the presidential house in Abuja, according to Anaedoonline.ng.
