Controversial Nigerian artist Charles Oputa, often known as Charly Boy, has openly endorsed Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) for president ahead of the 2023 election.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, the musician announced this in a post uploaded on his Twitter profile on September 1, 2022.
The well-known performer claimed that he would organize the largest gathering ever in favor of the former governor of Anambra State.

He tweeted: “Hummmm, finally on Kakaki today, I publicly endorsed Peter Obi. Before dis month runs out I would stage the biggest rally ever. Who’s with me on the rally?”
Recently, Charly Boy said that there were efforts to prevent Nigerian youngsters from carrying out their vision for a better Nigeria.
Charly Boy claimed on Sunday through Twitter that the opposition to youths is preparing awful things for the general elections of 2023.
The seasoned artist prayed that Nigerians will not make mistakes in 2023 after recently referring to himself as the leader of angry Nigerian youths in a meeting with Olusegun Obasanjo.

The Area Father wrote, “I pray that Buhari would be Nigerian’s last mistake.”
