The camp of Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate Peter Obi should be wary of big names, according to Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church.
Some prominent figures might defect to the LP, according to Primate Ayodele, to disrupt the party.
Prior to the elections in 2023, he issued a warning that some well-known individuals may not have the Labour Party’s best interests at heart.

In a statement sent by his media assistant, Oluwatosin Osho, Ayodele claimed that Obi can pull off unexpected victories in the upcoming election.
He said: “For the Labour Party, the man of God warned the party to be careful of big names that will decamp into the party because some of them don’t mean well for them.
“He mentioned that the candidate, Peter Obi can bring up surprises in the election, but his camp still has a lot to do.
‘’Some people will decamp to the Labour Party to destabilize the party, they must be careful of big names decamping to the party.
