The Labour Party’s Peter Obi is well-liked on social media and in public, according to Onwuasoanya Jones, the spokeswoman for the Peter Obi Support Network (POSN).

According to Anaedoonline.ng, Jones was responding to a claim made by Bayo Onanuga, a spokeswoman for the Tinubu Campaign Organization, that Peter Obi is a creature of social media.

According to a POSN spokesperson, Onanuga was prematurely admitting defeat.

Young people who use social media more frequently are more likely to vote in 2023, claims Jone.

He said, “Onanuga is conceding defeat too early. His statement is an admission of the obvious fact that Peter Obi is dominating the social media, and the truth is that the social media is where the majority of Nigerians, especially the youths, who constitute a larger number of those who will be voting in 2023, vent their opinions.

“Fortunately for us in the Peter Obi camp, we are maintaining an unassailable lead on social media. This is the same way we are going to win the election.”

He claimed that Peter Obi is a product of Nigerians and added that the reason why the Labour Party presidential candidate is well-liked in Nigeria is because of the message of hope for a new Nigeria that he stands for.
