Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii will represent the Peoples Democratic Party in the upcoming election for governor of Ebonyi, the Supreme Court ruled on Wednesday.
Odii and Senator Joseph Obinna Ogba engaged in a legal dispute regarding who had been legitimately chosen to represent the party in the state’s governorship primary in 2023. The primary was held at various places throughout the state.

Meanwhile, a five-member panel, headed by Justice Amina Augie, delivered judgement today, after entertaining final submissions from lawyers to parties in the appeal marked: SC/CV/ 939/2022 filed by Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii.
