On Wednesday, Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, was hurt in a collision.
His spokesperson, Sergiy Nikiforov, verified the incident and said that the driver was not gravely hurt.
According to information obtained by Anaedoonline.ng, Zelensky was involved in a car accident while riding in a procession through Kyiv.
Nikiforov said, “In Kyiv, a passenger car collided with the car of the President of Ukraine and escort vehicles.

“Medics accompanying the President provided the driver of the passenger car with emergency aid and transferred him to an ambulance.
“The president was examined by a doctor, no serious injuries were detected. The law enforcement officers will investigate all the circumstances of the accident.”
After the incident, Zelensky traveled to Kharkiv and unexpectedly paid a visit to Izyum.
In a recent counterattack, the Ukrainian forces had retaken the city, taking control of thousands of square kilometres.

Speaking after the tour, Zelensky expressed his horror at the extent of the Russian troops’ destruction to the city.
He said, “Our blue and yellow flag is already flying in de-occupied Izium. And it will be so in every Ukrainian city and village. We are moving in only one direction: forward towards victory.”
