To attend the annual gathering of world leaders, the United Nations General Assembly, President Muhammadu Buhari will leave Abuja on Sunday (UNGA77).

A watershed Moment: Transformative Solutions to Interlocking Challenges is the subject of the 77th session, which began on Tuesday, September 13th, according to Anaedoonline.ng.

This year’s UNGA will focus on a number of important issues, including the conflict in Ukraine, the energy crisis, climate change, containing the COVID-19 epidemic, and a special summit on transforming education.

Buhari will also take part in high-level meetings and side events, such as the Nigeria International Economic Partnership Forum (NIEPF), which was organized by Nigeria in collaboration with the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU); the Strengthening Coordination through National Humanitarian Development Peace (NHDP) Framework: A practical approach to sustainable durable solutions to ensure no one is left behind, which was put on by the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disarmament, and International Cooperation; and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development.

While in New York, the president is anticipated to hold important bilateral talks with international leaders, eminent investors, and heads of multinational corporations.
