Emeka Amakeze, a Nollywood actor, criticized Benedict Johnson for endorsing Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), on behalf of the whole industry.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, Benedict recently stated at a gathering that Kashim Shettima and Tinubu’s candidacy cannot be defended.
He also told the former governor of Lagos State that he had the full support of Nollywood.

In his words: “With your combination, I don’t think there is any defence that can stand them, sir, we the Nollywood, from Kannywood to Yorubahood and Igbohood are here today sir to tell you that they are hundred per cent behind you.”
However, Emeka, while reacting to the statement questioned the audacity of Benedict saying they represent the entire Nollywood.
He wrote: “The audacity of declaring that they represent the entire Nollywood. This is embarrassing”
