According to a recent poll, Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) nominee for president in 2023, is in the lead over the competition.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, the poll was conducted on September 17, 2022, by the We2Geda Foundation, a public advocacy organization.
However, Ibrahim Abdulkareem, the chairman of the We2Geda board of trustees, and Muna Obioha, a board member, announced the results of the poll on Tuesday.

The poll found that 51% of respondents said they would vote for Obi as their favorite candidate, while 25% said they would choose Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Additionally, according to the poll, Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) came in third place among voters with 19 percent.
“Further analysis also shows that Peter Obi remained a consistent favourite in the four major geopolitical zones including North-Central, South-South, South-West and South-East, while Alhaji Atiku Abubakar was the poll leader in the NorthEast and North-West zones,” the group said.
According to the organisation, there were 15,438 registered voters in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, with the majority of respondents in a random survey being Nigerians between the ages of 26 and 50.

About two weeks after the Anap Foundation, a pro-democracy organization, revealed the results of their survey ahead of the 2023 election, which it portrayed as a three-horse fight between Obi, Atiku, and Tinubu, a new poll was conducted.
