On Sunday, Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) disputed that his party would boycott the 2023 presidential election.

The former governor of Lagos State refuted rumors that he will not be running in the upcoming election by posting a brief video of himself on a treadmill.

On Wednesday, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the presidential campaign to be under embargo.

Recall that Tinubu left the country a few days before the 2023 presidential election campaign got underway.

There have been rumors that Tinubu left Nigeria for medical treatment; however, his supporters have refuted these rumors.

According to a supporter of the APC presidential candidate, Tinubu left the nation to take a break before the camp season.

In the video, Tinubu added that although some have declared he has passed away, others have alleged he has withdrew from the presidential campaign.

The national leader of the governing party claimed he had not given up on running for president.

He added that he is robust and well and that, should he win the election, he is prepared to meet Nigerians right away.

Tinubu wrote alongside the video, “Many have said I have died; others claim I have withdrawn from the presidential campaign.

“This is the reality: I am strong, I am healthy and I am READY to serve Nigerians from Day One.”
