Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, a charismatic priest from Enugu, has been removed from the Adoration Ministry.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, Mbaka’s supporters are already voicing their displeasure at the Church’s most recent decision.
On Sunday, the Adoration Ministry reopened after being closed for three months.
Fr. Anthony Amadi, a priest from the Catholic Diocese of Enugu, has been assigned to oversee the Adoration Ministry in place of Fr. Mbaka.

Mbaka was dispatched to the monastery. The move is effective right away.
A senior ministry official expressed regret over the development when Newsmen confirmed the publication.
According to him, “all along, the Bishop has been trying to take over the Adoration Ministry. But I can assure you that no priest will succeed there. So long as Fr. Mbaka is not there, nobody will come there to worship.
“This will lead to anarchy. It’s unthinkable that this kind of harsh decision could be made. We the adorers will never accept any other priest.
“Fr. Mbaka suffered and built that place will sole effort. Now they have tactically hijacked the place through the backyard. Let’s see how they will succeed.”
