2023: PDP To Kick Off Presidential Campaign On Oct 10 At Akwa Ibom

On Monday, October 10, 2022, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will launch its presidential campaign.

Aminu Tambuwal, the governor of Sokoto State, announced on Tuesday that the PDP National Campaign Management Committee’s (NCMC) kickoff will take place in Akwa Ibom State.

Atiku Abubakar, the party’s presidential candidate, was referred to by Tambuwal as being the best prepared when speaking to reporters at Atiku’s campaign office in Wuse, Abuja.

The former vice president of Nigeria is the only person, according to the governor of Sokoto State, who can provide Nigeria the leadership it needs.

Tambuwal asserts that only Atiku has expertise in federal governance and that no other presidential contender can compare to him.

Tambuwal added, “And this is not the time for Nigeria to go into trial and error. It’s time for Nigeria to give it to the person that has been tested and who has the experience, who can do a good job.”

He pointed out that Atiku will get started right away as President because the main opposition party launched their campaign team on the day the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) lifted a ban on campaigns.

Wike Mocks Tambuwal After PDP Presidential Primary ‘Betrayal’

Tambuwal stated, “we will flag off campaign in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State on October, 10th 2022.

“We will travel throughout to the nooks and crannies of this country particularly moved around the states to solicit for votes.”

The Sokoto State Governor assured that the presidential campaign of PDP will be issue-based.
