The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd. ), is currently presiding over this week’s virtual Federal Executive Council meeting at the Presidential Villa’s Council Chambers in Abuja.
The conference, which began at 10:00 a.m., will look at Buhari’s draught budget estimate for 2023, which he will deliver to the National Assembly on Friday, October 7.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, the President’s Chief of Staff, Professor Ibrahim Gambari, and the Federation’s Head of Civil Service, Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan are all in attendance.

Also in attendance are Ministers of Justice, Abubakar Malami; Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami; Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed; Federal Capital Territory, Mohammed Bello; and Education, Adamu Adamu.
Others are the Ministers of Health, Dr Osagie Ehanire; Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama; Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Farouq; as well as Ministers of State for Agriculture, Mustapha Shehuri; Budget and National Planning, Clement Agba and Environment, Udi Odum.
Other cabinet members are participating virtually from their respective offices in Abuja.
