The planned walk in support of Tinubu-Shettima has been postponed indefinitely by Musiliu Akinsanya, MC Oluomo, the chairman of the Lagos State Parks and Management Committee.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, MC Oluomo set Sunday, October 9, 2022 as the day for the solidarity walk and rally to support Bola Tinubu, the APC’s presidential candidate.
Initially, the rally was supposed to begin at Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere and go to several locations throughout the state.

The walk/rally was postponed, according to MC Oluomo, in a statement on Wednesday since the APC campaign was set to launch on Monday, October 10, 2022.
The statement reads: “This is to inform the general public that the Tinubu-Shettima solidarity walk scheduled for Sunday 9th October, 2022 at Teslim Balogun Stadium has been postponed until further notice.
“The postponement was due to the APC campaign flag-up that is coming up on Monday October 10, 2022.
“The new date will be communicated once agreed. We regret any inconveniences.”
