Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong has hailed a Nigeria Police Force employee, Mr Daniel Amah, for refusing a $200,000 bribe.

Amah, a native of Plateau State’s Jos East Local Government Area, joined the police force as a Cadet Inspector in 2002 and is now a Divisional Police Officer in Kano State’s Nasarawa LGA.

He was believed to have refused the payment while investigating a robbery case brought to the police division in the state where he was the DPO, a circumstance that prompted the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission to honour him.
