Peter Obi: ‘Obidients’ Storm Agbor, Okowa’s Hometown For ‘One Million-Man’ March (Video)

Thousands of Peter Obi’s fans marched in support of him today in his hometown of Ifeanyi Okowa, governor of Delta State and vice presidential candidate for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), who is also a member of the Labour Party (LP).

According to Anaedoonline.ng, Obi supporters gathered on Saturday at Owa-Alero and took over the main streets in Agbor, Ika North-East Local Government of Delta.

Many of the young people participating in the march, which is part of the support for the Obi/Datti presidential ticket for 2023, were decked out in LP gear.

Similar to them, thousands of others have gathered at Gyado crossroads in Gboko, Benue State, and are currently marching through the heart of the city to the JS Tarka Institute of Political Studies.

One of the coordinators of the rally, Joseph Itodo said that police were on ground with the participants, adding that it was mostly peaceful.

In his words; “That people contributed to make this rally a success shows that Nigeria will be great again. Honestly, this movement has united Nigerians more than ever, we had security agents on ground because we wrote to the commissioner of police, he approved and we had policemen and other security agencies with us.”

Afikpo (Ebonyi State), Onistha (Anambra State), Port Harcourt (Rivers), Auchi (Edo State), Abeokuta (Ogun State), Makurdi (Benue State), Onistha (Anambra State), and Enugu are among the states where it is known that a similar march has previously taken place (Enugu state)
