Amelia Pounds, a 28-year-old woman from Nigeria, reportedly passed away as a result of complications from liposuction surgery in India.
According to information obtained by Anaedoonline.ng, the entrepreneur passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022, during the procedure at an unidentified facility in New Delhi.
It was said that the Nigerian woman passed while during surgery.
The doctor was heard expressing regret to her in a video that has been circulating online.

Vera Sidika, a Kenyan socialite, received confirmation from an Instagram user that the woman had sought to join a friend who had recently undergone surgery.
Also, an Instagram user confirmed the incident to Kenyan socialite, Vera Sidika, stating that the lady attempted to join her friend who recently underwent surgery.
The post read: “Hello Vera. Hopefully u are doing well now, I have a story to share that happened here in India. One Nigerian girl she just go do surgery and she pass out. And the girl was very okay with her shape but because her friend did surgery and she survived it she though it will be same to her now she died what a pity.”
