Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s nominee for president, explained the delay in the release of his presidential election platform for 2023.

The former governor of Anambra State reportedly stated that his party’s platform was 95% complete and will soon be released, according to an earlier report by Anaedoonline.ng.

Obi claimed that he awaited the positions of the Nigeria Labour Congress and the Trades Union Congress before unveiling his platform.

The LP presidential candidate has come under fire for delaying the publication of his presidential campaign team for the 2023 race.

The LP presidential candidate revealed in an interview with BBC that the country has many ideas and well-documented policy programmes that have been rendered ineffective because there isn’t enough political will to carry them out.

The Labour Party’s manifesto will be unveiled “sometime next week,” according to Doyin Okupe, the director-general of Peter Obi’s presidential campaign, who also noted that it will be unique from other political parties’ manifestos.
