Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers State, will receive the “Distinguished Award in Infrastructure Delivery” from President Muhammadu Buhari.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, the Federal Government will present the prize during the upcoming Nigeria Excellence in Public Service Award.
The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on October 21 at the State House Conference Centre in Abuja, according to a letter from the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, that was signed by the Permanent Secretary (General Services) in the SGF’s Office, Dr. Nnamdi Maurice Mbaeri.

Investing in initiatives in the healthcare, education, health, sports, and agriculture, as well as building twelve flyovers throughout the state, are just a few of Governor Wike’s infrastructure accomplishments that have garnered him attention for such an honor.
Wike’s dedication has earned him the moniker Mr. Project, and he has promised to keep it up until his last day in office.
He said: “The only way we can show gratitude to the people for the confidence they reposed in us is to continue to serve them with all our heart and might.”
