The name of the governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi, who had previously received the commander of the order of the Niger (CON) from the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan, has also been removed from the updated list.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, Buhari also presented seven foreigners with national honors today.

It is noteworthy that only 447 of the 5,000 nominees presented to the awards committee earlier were chosen to receive honors.
