Anambra: Soludo Makes New Appointment To Education Council

The governor of Anambra State, Charles Soludo, appointed twenty people over the weekend to the state’s Education Advisory Committee.

The information about the development was released to media on Monday morning by Christian Aburime, the governor’s principal press secretary.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, Osita Chidoka, a former minister of aviation, is one among the new hires.

A.U. Nnonyelu of the faculty of social sciences at Nnamdi Azikiwe University is also a member of the 20-person committee, which the governor will lead. The committee’s secretary will be the education commissioner, Ngozi Chuma-Udeh. Theresa Opara, Paul Enidom, Walter Nwafia, Ngozi Agbasimalo, Obianuju Kenechukwu, Chinelo Nzelibe, and Obiajulu Obikeze are additional members in addition to Mr. Patrick Okigbo III.

Members of the committee include Vice-Chancellor of Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Provost of the College of Education, Nsugbe, and Rector of the Anambra State Polytechnic, Mgbakwu, Virgy Onyene, Chairwoman of Anambra’s Universal Education Board and Chairperson of the State’s Post-Primary School Service Commission.
