On Friday, October 14, 2022, the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) declared that its eight-month strike will be put on hold.

Due to ASUU’s decision to go on strike on February 14, 2022, academic activities were suspended in Federal and State Universities across the nation.

However, ASUU announced the strike’s suspension and instructed its members to resume in a statement last Friday.

Some universities have revealed start dates after the announcement.
