Atiku Abubakar’s presidential campaign spokesman, Daniel Bwala, has stated that Nigerians should be allowed to decide his principal’s fate in the 2023 elections.
He stated in light of Atiku’s decision to remove a tweet and a Facebook post denouncing the horrific murder of a Christian girl named Deborah Samuel by her classmates in response to threats against his bid for the presidency.
According to Anaedoonline.ng , Samuel was allegedly accused of blasphemy by her coworkers at Shehu Shagari College of Education in Sokoto State and was killed by beating and burning in May 2022.

Bwala said Atiku has explained his action to Nigerians during an interview appearance on the Morning Show by Arise TV on Tuesday.
He further stated that the country’s citizens’ satisfaction with the explanation will be determined at the polls in 2023.
The presidential campaign spokesman was answering a query over Atiku’s removal of his tweet.
In response, he said; “If Nigerians are not satisfied [with Atiku’s explanations on why he deleted his tweet on the killing of Deborah Samuel] they will express that at the polls.”
