The team of the Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON) visited the Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing factory in Nnewi, Anambra State, on Tuesday, October 18, 2022. Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing was the first vehicle manufacturer in Nigeria and is renowned for building high-quality cars.
In celebration of the SON’s 50th anniversary, IVM CEO Dr. Innocent Chukwuma gave Mr. Don Pedro Papanye, the director of the SON in Anambra State, a brand-new IVM smart EX 80.
The investor and businessman stressed in a conversation with AnaedoOnline that the car was given as a reward for the SON’s successful performance in setting high standards for businesses in Nigeria.

The Nnewi born business guru appreciated the direct approach of the SON towards the discharge of her duties and specially suggested that the car be given to the best staff of the organisation as a reward for dedication and excellence as they mark their Golden Jubilee. He further encouraged them to continue being transparent in the maintenance of Quality.
Mr. Papanye appreciated the Innoson Boss for his contribution towards their work in the country and assured him that the best staff would be chosen via a transparent process and communicated in due time.
Furthermore, he encouraged Nigerians to buy and use made in Nigeria products inorder to boost economic growth. He then thanked Innoson on behalf of SON for his generosity, benevolence and goodwill.
The SON contributes to life by promoting consumer confidence and global competitiveness of nigerian products and services through standardization and quality assurance.
