Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos State, has received the support of Governor Nyseom Wike of Rivers State for a second term.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, this was revealed by Gboyega Akosile, the chief press secretary for Sanwo-Olu, in a succinct statement on Tuesday.
“Breaking: Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike endorses Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for second term in office. Details later,” Akosile wrote.

Wike’s support for Sanwo-Olu comes despite rumors that the governor of Rivers State is backing Olajide Adediran, also known as Jandor, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for governor of Lagos.
According to reports, Jandor is a member of the group that is behind Dr. Iyorchia Ayu, the national chairman of the PDP, and presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar.
