On Monday, six Igbo traditional leaders stormed the Court of Appeal in Abuja to demand the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the IPOB leader who is currently being held in custody.

The monarchs, who were all attired in their regal garb, claimed they had come to court to support their son.

They remained in the courtroom and watched the proceedings in the Federal Government’s appeal to delay the implementation of the Appeal Court decision that ordered Kanu’s release from custody.
