The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Nigeria’s largest opposition party, has launched a new complaint against the All Progressives Congress (APC), requesting the Federal High Court in Abuja to dismiss the party’s National Working Committee (NWC), led by Abdullahi Adamu.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, the PDP accused the ruling party of wrongdoing in the process that generated the party’s national officers and candidates in the new complaint.

The complaint, filed on behalf of the PDP by a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Ayo Kamaldeen Ajibade, sought that all candidates produced by the APC for the 2023 general elections be excluded from the race for allegedly violating the 1999 Constitution and the Electoral Act 2022.
